When contracted by a company to repair a leaky roof, our client was not provided with the appropriate materials to perform the job. Without a ladder sufficiently tall, employees from the hiring company provided him with an unsecured forklift and pallet to lift him up to the roof of the building. The pallet became unstable as our client repaired the roof, causing him to fall approximately 22 feet to the ground, after which the pallet also fell and landed on top of him. The accident caused our client to suffer serious bodily injuries.
