Plaintiff was traveling in the furthest right lane of the highway. Defendant was driving a tractor-trailer while in the course and scope of his employment. Defendant was entering I-45 through the on-ramp when he failed to yield to traffic on the highway and suddenly merged into Plaintiff’s lane causing the vehicles to collide. The force of the collision caused Plaintiff to suffer bodily injuries.
