Phillip Koterba, age 9 was in a fatal accident on May 7th, 2011. Manvel police said the golf cart Phillip was riding in hit a ditch and flipped, he sustained head injuries and died on Mother’s Day, May 8th , 2011.
Phillip was a third grade student at CJ Harris Elementary and a member of the Pearland Little League.
Phillip’s family reported that the donation of his organs helped three other children live. www.lifegift.org

There is a memorial service planned at the Harris Butterfly Garden on May 26th, 2011 at 2:15 where a statue will be dedicated and butterflies will be released.
