Sugar Land ‘s own Lance Cpl. Garrett Gamble died at the age of 20 in March of 2010 after stepping on a mine while patrolling during combat operations in Afghanistan.
This week the second annual Garrett Gamble Day was celebrated to honor the fallen Marine. Boy Scouts from local troop 38 and Congressman Pete Olson (R-Tx) conducted a flag ceremony before a Little League Game.
Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the Gamble Family and our Thanks to Garrett for his service .
