A Fort Bend resident is suing after an air-conditioning technician fell and died while installing a unit.

Fort Bend resident Rebecca Ewing, and others, filed a wrongful death lawsuit on March 20 in the Harris County District Court against Pace Residential Air Conditioning and Cap Barbel.

Ewing says on March 12, a loved one, Cody Bogard, fell 30 feet to his death while installing a 7-ton air-conditioning unit for Pace Residential Air Conditioning. According to the brief, Pace failed to provide Bogard with safety harnessing and safety ropes, as required by OSHA.
