While making her way back to her car in the parking lot of a store, our client tripped and fell on a piece of rebar protruding upward from the concrete in front of her vehicle. As a result of the fall, she suffered injuries to her back, shoulder, and hips.

A host of a house party encouraged her guests, including our client, to slide down a fire pole extending from the top level of her home to the bottom. Despite our client’s initial refusal to participate, most guests’ intoxication, and the fact that it was surrounded by a dangerous opening to the floor below, the host negligently persisted in her encouragement. When our client ultimately attempted to slide down it, she fell through the opening and onto the ground, causing her to suffer serious injuries to her back.

While walking within the designated crosswalk area of an intersection in Houston, our client was struck by an inattentive driver making a left turn who failed to yield right of way to pedestrians. Our client suffered serious painful and incapacitating injuries, as well as lost wages, as a result of the accident.

While working in the pathology lab at a hospital, our client began experiencing progressively worsening symptoms of exposure to toxic substances. After multiple complaints to the hospital and requests for an inspection of the lab, it was finally discovered that several clogged filters and improper installation of fans were preventing ventilation of the toxic workspace. As a result of the exposure to dangerous chemicals and toxins in her workplace, our client suffered several serious health issues.

In an office building in Houston, our client and her coworker entered an elevator on the tenth floor to go down to the first floor. Once the elevator doors closed, the elevator dropped suddenly at a fast pace. It came to an abrupt stop on the fourth floor, where the doors would not open at first. The fast drop and abrupt stop of the elevator caused our client to fall and her body to jerk in the elevator, resulting in serious injuries.

While working at a supercenter store, our client was struck by a delivery man pushing a cart overloaded with product that obstructed his view of what was in front of him. The force of the collision knocked our client to the ground, causing her to suffer severe injuries to her spine and knees.
