Pit bulls kill woman, Stafford woman sued

An estate is suing over claims two pit bull dogs attacked and killed a loved one at a Stafford woman’s property in Houston.

La’Wanda Dyson-Lendsey and others, on behalf of the deceased Edna Dyson, filed a wrongful death suit on April 17 in the Harris County District Court against Stafford resident Delores Garcia and Houston resident Adrian Garcia.

The plaintiffs say on Nov. 9, 2011, two pit bull dogs owned by Adrian Garcia viciously attacked and seriously injured Edna Dyson. According to the brief, she died from the injuries six days later.

The plaintiffs are seeking damages and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Houston attorney Michael P. Fleming.
